Good morning. Nah... They're not moving again. Cold, dead hands kind of thing.

Good morning,

Having elderly parents is like having kids in college, isn't it? They want to have independence but can't think of anyone but themselves and make poor choices.

I keep thinking of the time my mother called me all excite, telling me that she won a cruise. When I saw her next she showed me a piece of junk mail that was clearly designed to scam the elderly. I told her to throw it away.

Another time she told me she won a free lunch at a nearby care dealership - and she wanted me to drive her there. I am not lying. When my protest fell on deaf ears I actually tossed it right in the garbage in frustration.

She was so mad at me, telling me "why are you such a sour puss? Don't you want your mother to be happy?" This comes from a woman who refuses to use the Internet because of privacy concerns.

Good morning, guys. What a weekend! Nothing special, just emotionally draining. I'm hoping for a quiet week, but that's probably asking for too much.

Good morning. I think my son is playing with the buttons on the coffee machine. Not cool to wake Daddy at 3 or 4 am and give him weak coffee.

Good morning, guys.

Evaluation day. My wife's taking my son to get evaluated for therapy/summer school in the next county over. I shall remain to pickup our daughter from school.

Good morning.

We were concerned about frost after yesterday's snowfall but it seems to have been unfounded. Last year we got a late frost after the trees had budded and we had dead leaves on our Japanese maple in May.

Good morning, guys.

TMJ. I think my bite guard is failing at night or the stress is finally starting to express itself in my jaw. Where is medicinal when I need it?
